State of chaos
Somehow my Pond Snail, Gary, got dumped behind my dresser during water change. I found him 2 hours later. I quarentined him so if the report is not good he wont ammonia spike my water. What should I do??

I had a snail that sat in a bucket of rocks in 80 degree sun for about 3 months. 5 minutes after he hit the water he was out crawling around the new tank. They are just about indestructable.

He's good :D
0C, not sure how but sure enough he was behind my dresser. I spilled some water back there, maybe he got washed up in it? IDK...:screwy:

I've had small snails crawling around in a half empty tank (no fish in it) that i just never got too, apparently there were some snail eggs on some of the rocks that were in there.

They were roaming around a tank, with no heater, or filter, just a tank of half water that i kinda forgot about.

Pond snail? Physas spp?
I'm not sure . I assume, I originally thought it was a Periwinkle, but the guys on AC doubted it. I'll try to post pics soon but digital camera sucks.

I had one that escaped. Found it across my room under the bed. Had to follow the snail trail to find it. It had obviously been out for awhile, but wasn't dried out all the way so it was fine after I put it back in the tank.

Maybe yours escaped too? Do you have an opening in your lid big enough for it to get out?
