Could somebody help me identify what kind of snail this is? They are are all of a sudden everywhere in my son’s tank after an introduction of a solo plant a week ago.

Has an olive to greenish colored shell. Bout a quarter of an inch in size.

What size is the tank? What fish do you - does your son - have?

A group of suitably sized loaches will feast on snails.

You can create snail traps by putting food or algae pellets in a narrow opening bottle or tube and waiting overnight then throwing it out in the morning. If you don’t have the room or money for CLs

i actually need to do that if there’s already an infestation of them i can feed them to my megalodoras but i need a positive id on them first. Im in no way an expert on snails
