Ok, So my kids fish out at Roger's springs which has some ciclids, turtles and crayfish.
It is a hot spring in the middle of the desert not too far from lake mead.
There are some snails (malaysian trumpets) that always catch a ride on anything that makes the trip.
A few months back we put a few in the Aquarium for the GSP's to eat.
Unfortunately they reproduce at a rate that the GSP's cannot keep up with.
Monday I had to open up my FX5 motor and clean all the snails out to avoid seizing the motor.
Lesson learned. MTS are pests. Truly.
This is why there are signs everywhere around all the water bodies in the desert warning to clean them off before leaving the area.
