Yep, another question already haha.
When I started my 10 and 20 gallons last year, I went to petsmart and got about 5 of those really tiny free snails, and I asked if they were asexual so they wouldn't reproduce out of control, and 2 people assured me they won't. But I'm pretty sure they were, cuz now I have hundreds of them in both tanks (buggers)
Will this cause problems?
Does anyone have any tips to get rid of them?
Thanks :)

one natural technique (no chemicals) you could try is to put an inverted saucer on the bottom of the tank, with some vegetable food, like an algae wafer, on it . . . overnight, the snails will climb on to the saucer to get at the food . . . in the morning, you lift out the saucer, snails and all . . .

may have to do a few times to get all (or at least most) of the snails . . .

Usually they won't cause any problems as long as you don't have live plants. Eventually they will reproduce so much they will overrun your tank though. You could use the method stated above, or if you don't mind chemicals you could add copper to the tank. Copper in small doses won't harm your fish but will kill all inverts in the tank. (i would try natural first) Theres also another approach to get rid of these pesky little things; Fish! Most puffers, and loaches will eat them without question, Just make sure if you do buy these for your snail problem they wont outgrow your tank, and if they do you have a backup plan for a new home.

You could also try using assassin snails.. get like 4 of those guys and it they should help quite a bit... either that or you could get a F/W puffer to take care of them...
