About a year ago, I got some of those small free snails from petsmart (maybe 5 or so) for my 20 gallon.
I was under the impression that they wouldn't reproduce this much, and i now have hundreds.

Is this a problem?
How can I get rid of them?
Any advice is great, thanks :)

You could try getting a few (2-4) Assassin snails to help your problem out... since they feed on other snails... or, depending on what fish you have in your tank, and if you have the space, you could consider a snail eating fish such as a small F/W puffer?

Safe doses of copper, clown loaches or puffers work wonders.
Or just drop a slice of blanched cucumber in one of those betta cups and most of them will climb to their doom.

unfortunatly I no longer have that crab (R.I.P) but I did get a clown loach the other day by coincidence. he should take care of them I guess :)

Send me all you can catch!!!!!!!!!!!! My puffer loves them. I will pay to ship!

Clown loaches like buddies and will get way too large for a 20 gallon tank.

Got Snails?

i would spend half and hour taking out as many snails as i can find into a plastic bag. then, crush em. :) get some snail - eating fish species to take care of the leftovers.
