I have a 55g with 5 RBP about 3" and 6 Exodons about 2.5" I also have 5 Assassin Snails. But I have a massive outbreak of other Snails in my tank. I do have some live plants. Dwarf Grass, Java Moss, Java Ferns, and some Crypts. What can i use to get rid of these other snails.

meh im not going to even bother giving him/you advice. if he actualy cared about the fish for anytihng more than sometihng to show off of his fish the snails would be a VERY minor concern (obviously if the snails bother him and the health of his fish dosen't to him it's just something to look at and not care about)

he dosen't deserve my advice

Howdy and :chillpill:

Your tank, someone else's tank, no reason to make stuff up - Surferjoey, you either misled us in post #1 or #3, which understandably leads to instant animosity. Still, no reason to be hostile.

The key to solve your problems (the one you are aware of and others to come) is massively better tank hygiene (snails feed off leftovers), separation of species, and a much bigger tank for the RBPs asap.

Tell that to "your friend" ;););)

Move the assassin snails to the infested tank. They should eat them I believe. Ive never had them but they eat snails ive heard.

Clown loaches is a horrible idea.

I always refer to snail problems as the more correct overfeeding/undermaintenance problem.

Not sure Assassin snails eat other snails more so kill them with a stinger.

You could try a plastic bottle with food in it, empty the bottle when the snails are feeding on the food.
