i have a planted tank with discus and arowana. i have a lot of snails i need them gone any ideas?

few things.
cut back on feeding..no food = less breeding and die off
get a plastic bottle. and clean it well..cut top off so it can be flipped around in to its self like a cray or crab pot...put bait in bottle.. veggie rounds, soft veggies...any type of food they will go after ..put the bottle in before lights out..remove when lights come on...keep doing ..over and over again.

perfect snail to get rid of snails with ease and they do not breed like your standard ramshorn, and all those other crap snails that come from plants you buy at poorly cleaned tank pet stores. A plus, they don't eat your plants. Drop about 4 of them in and watch you tank clear up pretty quick.

tank is too small and i have a breeding pair of discus in it.
i may get some of them. i have herd of them before.
the tank is a 20gal and i have an african aro growout, breeding pair of discus and a peacock eel.

Why don't you just fish them all out and trade them in?
yeah i got 2 but i think i am going to sell one....they fight...

Yup the assassin snails 4 cleaned out the 80 planted in about a week empty shells all over the place kind of miss them

see i like snails, but i will be getting some nice looking snails. the ones i have now look like brown elongated turds that move. i want some bright yellow and black snails for this tank. i can't remember the name of them, but i know witch ones they are.
