Snail safe ick treatment?

A couple day ago i noticed my bass itching on the rocks. I diagnosed it as ick and bumped the temp and added salt. It was now been three days and its getting worse and i dont want to lose my bass. The problem is i have malaysian trumpet snails and want to know if there is a treatment that is safe for them. Thanks.

MTS are fine with heat and salt. Often ich will get worse before it starts to improve, I would give it a little more time. Is your bass still eating?

o ya they still eat everything that they can. It just got really bad overnight made me concerned.

Kordon makes a product called Ich*Attack that is supposed to be snail safe . . . personally, I have used this product succesfully on loaches, but have not tried on snails . . .

You could use malachite green, formalin or salt just fine. MTS are nearly indestructible. I doubt you'll lose a big portion of their population.

Thanks for all the input guys. Ill see how it goes im going to try to stay with the salt if i can.
