OK - so I have all these Mystery snails, and I bought a bag of crushed coral to add as per WYLDFYA's and others' suggestions.

Now, my question is.... if I change the tank's substrate from regular gravel to this coral, will that have an adverse effect on my FISH in the tank?

In this tank are a Raiamas (Funny characin thingy), a Tilapia (Not worried about him, he'll love it.) and some cory cats. Also a Gold Dojo Loach and 2 Weather Loaches. And 2 feeder goldfish turned pets :)

If the answer is no, the fish will be OK, I am, THEN, curious if this is okay LONG TERM?

If the answer is yes, the fish will be poorly affected, what about putting some in the filter? How long does THIS last for? Will THAT affect the fish also? (As opposed to having the whole bottom covered)

Also grow Elodea (Anarchis) in there.

Forgot a fish... There's also a Flagtail Cat in there.

Tank is a 6.6, and if you must know, it's a full 23 inches long :headbang2 :headbang2 :headbang2

The cories probably like your water better without the coral.
You cann skip the coral and feed them foods from this list http://applesnail.net/

Am I reading right do you got all that suff in a 6.6gallon tank?If so thats not good.
And the loaches may eat the snails

Yes, all those are in the 6.6, here are some photos to put your mind to rest :) The coral is to raise the pH not to give calcium, is what I figured? They get a wide variety of foods (Calcium blocks, pellets, flakes, etc.) The fish are still quite small and with 2 feet of swimming space, there's a lot of room to elbow around in.

:WHOA:
Thats alot of snails in that little tank, forget what I said, add the coral, theyre gonna need the calcium.

LOL yeah, started with one snail a few months ago. Never looked back. Just so much fun. What about the fish though? I don't really have another tank that is "fish friendly" Every other tank has a lungfish's mouth waiting for them

Most of your fish are pretty hardy, like I said the cories might be better off without the coral but I doubt itll kill them
