So I broke my tank down September of 2013 I had live plants with some snail hitch hikers in there a few ended up in my sump where they bred out of control but hey it's in my sump and they keep the gunk in check well every thing was empty for almost 9-10 months filled it up and now I have my frontosa in there, all that is in the tank is pool filter sand and some rocks no plants well today I clean out my sump and there are a dozen or so snails!
Can the eggs really last that long out of water? I doubt a snail lived that long dry and no food
Not a big deal to me I welcome them they keep my sump clean and such but I can't believe they are back
