Snails have infiltrated

Not sure how they got in but rams horns have a small population in their tank will my upper jaws eat them can I kill them with copper what are my options ?

Toss in a couple of Lettuce Leaves in after lights out and just remove lettuce with the snails on it. I suggest not to use meds.

I don't know if the LJ will eat them.

Agree with tlindsey. You can make a bottle trap and add massivores or some pellet. Works wonders for me. You can also get a loach or some kind of snail eating fish to help as well!

Was thinking about some yoyos snail traps have not been to effective for me but ill try again.

The yoyos will solve the issue as long as they don't get eaten by your bichirs.

I'm not sure if Assassin snails eat ramshorns, but they have been highly effective at controlling my MTS population. Not sure if they would help in your situation, but might be a backup option? Good luck

I tried assassin snails that promptly disappeared. Hopefully they're eating eggs. Clown loaches only seem interested if you smash the snails. Down to about 6 unwanted from hundreds that infested a tank. Finally just scoop them up during maintenance and smash to a pulp for the other fish.

Make sure you really want assassins. I tried them in a shrimp tank. They promptly ate the snails then I would see them attacking adult shrimp, and baby bushynose plecos. I had a terrible time getting rid of them, and they just kept reproducing. They definitely destroyed the ramshorns though.
