Latley when i clean out both my HOB and Canister filters for my 125gal. There are baby snails, i use to have plants but i got rid of them all and i always use to check them for snails before i put them in the tank. are they harmful, They are mostly in my canister filter which is and XP3 and very few on the biowheels on the back of the tank. They are nowhere to be seen in the tank. Are they harmful or anything? Any solutions?

They are harmful, don't worry. The problems appear when you give to your fishes live minnow as food; in his case the snails can became an intermediate host for some species of Nematode worms (parasite of the fishes); in this case you should use a good (warning: not all are good, some are toxics and other absolutely useless!) anti-snails chimical product.

If they are Malay live bearing snails, they are nocternal, and hide in the substate during the day, and conitinuously work it (a good thing). these are small cone type snails. They are only really a problem if the get into the pump impeller, or tubing and clog things up. Regular maintainence manages this problem.
I have them in all my tanks, except for tanks with cichlids from the genus Paretroplus, if I put these fish in a snail infested tank, within hours, the snails are under control. Below is Paretroplus kieneri.

Howdy,

Nothing wrong with some biodiversity. I got snails in my tanks (and filters) as well.

i found a ramshorn snail the size of a quarter in my sump a few weeks ago...

im all for it

I hate them, they are ugly, but I found out my goruami must love them, I have two 20 gallon tanks plumbed together with plants. The neon tank full of snails the goruami tank not a single snail, I also have snails in my 30 gallon but in my 55 where I have goruami no snails.
