Found them at my LFS and got them for 25 cents. The employee at the moment had never noticed them before and was also curious as to what they are. They are pretty difficult to see and I can tell you now that my camera probably would not be able to get a clear image of them. But does anybody know of tiny, translucent snails?

You mean these?

I've got three different strains of these going right now. Two ugly brown varieties and one beautiful yellow type with black lace patterning from the spot my LMB came from.

No, this is much smaller, like a bb, and has a more "ramshorn style" shape, not conical enough to notice.

They seem incredibly inactive and have not laid eggs or anything. I wonder if I should heat their tank, but I'd hate to accidentally kill them. Also, they don't seem to surface for air at all, so they probably have gills instead of lungs. Just a guess, I am not a snail expert.

PICS COMING

After these shots, I'm guessing they are baby ramshorn or some random dwarf variety of the same.

Yeah, the clear shell is throwing me. Perhaps they are slow-growing ruby rams?

the shell is not upright, it is on it's side.... if that makes any sense...
Yes, these snails of mine cannot stand upright. They are always laying on their side. Do yours stay small, too, tropicalfishking?

mine have only been in my tanks for about 3 weeks and they haven't gotten any bigger...
