I've got a Jack and two small convicts and was thinking of getting one or two of those golf-ball sized snails. Would the fish pester the snails to death? Or would they even care?

I have large snails with my fish, the fish dont mess with them at all.
But you never now with fish, your fish my tear them up

they eventually kill the and eat them. a tasty snack. you better off with a same sized catfish to keep your tank clean

I did have a pictus cat for a few months. And then it mysteriously died. It did a good job of cleaning up after my cichlids and the only time it got harassed was when the head convict brushed against it when I first put it in there. So I'd like to get maybe three pictus cats when I build my indoor pond.

But pictus don't eat algea and I'm not too fond of plecos. But if snails are a bad idea, I guess I could resort to scraping.
