Where I am at the moment
I have tons of snails, you know those little brown ones, I kill them, yes kill them and yet the next day I've got hundreds more, besides the 'had a snail' solution, how else can I get rid of them.
I have a twelve gallon tank with guppies, and a thousand snails, so tell me how do I get rid of the little buggers. Thank you

I had lots of snails once in a tank with non-aggressive fish... fought and fought to get rid of those little pests... finally I bought a VERY young tiger oscar and it took care of all of the snails. Now I watched that little scar like a hawk to make sure it didn't eat my tetras and such but he left them alone prefferring the slower more vunerable prey. That was my solution but not everyone would suggest it.

The loaches are your best defense with the type of fish you ahve now. You can get very small ones also. They do get big but takes a very very long time.

Send them to me, I need a cleanup crew.

Hiya Glum, welcome to MFK,
You could use this as an excuse to get another small tank (10g) and a pair of redeye dwarf puffers (Carinotetraodon loreti), the two sexes look very different and the don't get much larger than 2 1/4" long and will breed in a 10g, they are fully freshwater. They will eat all the snails you can give them and beg for more

Howdy & Welcome to MFK,

Exploding snail populations are mostly due to overfeeding. Try to reduce feeding, combined with targeted elimination of the snails you can reach. You should see results within days.
