Today I just set up about a 15 gallon storage bin to start breeding snails in. All that I did was clean it out fill it up with some water dropped in some chlorine remover some nutrafin cycle (wasn't sure if I needed to do that but I figured why not I have extra) and a air stone I also dropped in a handful of biomax (also just because I had some extra) is there anything anyone could tell me I would need to add? I don't really want to have to spend money on something that I can just go to the lfs and get for freebut it would be nice to be able to just have them on hand so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Put a lid on it. Sounds like you've pretty much got it. Maybe some decor to make it look nice, but snails arnt hard to breed. My lfs cant get rid of all the babies they keep getting.

snails are the easiest living creature on earth to breed
step 1. add water at night put one snail in.
step 2. wake up in the morning to 100 snails in your tank.
its really that simple
you will hate yourself for even coming up with that idea.
