well i got my rtb situated on another heat pad and hes eating great and strong as ever.I had a old pad go out and during my move he got kindof jipped of a regular feeding schedule.I held it a few weeks ago but today was super sunny out and about 70 degrees or so, so i took it out side and kicked it in the sun for about 2 hours.Man he was so docile and it just was so perfect out,the dog running around playing, just one of those good vibe times you know.I swear this snake did not want to go back inside,i felt bad putting it back in the cage, lol. So anyone out their whos snake hasnt been held outdoors in a while,im just reminding you how rewarding it is for you and the snake.Lame thread i know, but worth it to me,lol.

Whenever I took my tortoise out in the sun to play I could tell that he really enjoyed it and I too had a hard time putting him back.

I know how you feel. At a neaby place I'm volunteering at, there are two EXTREMELY tame and calm snakes; a california king snake and a garter snake. I take them out in the sun and show and explain them to people, and it's fun.

But for some reason, my hands start getting sticky (with sweat I guess) when I go to hold my snake, and when I hold him it's not as fun for him because he can't slither around as smoothly. I wish I could control my stupid and pathetic nervousness :irked: Well I'm sure it will be gone soon.

Some of my animals kinda freak when they go outside. They go dead still... you can see they are uneasy.
