Snake skin Gouramis questions

So I have a 75g tank with two delhezi bichirs I plan on getting a spiny eel probably black spot or somthing else in the 14-24" range but that is mostly bottom dwellers so I was thinking maybe snake skin Gouramis for a mid to top level dweller I would just do one with maybe some dithers
but here are my questions

1.max size in aquariums I have heard 8-12"
2.diet
3.aggression
4.personality
compatibility with the fish listed

Mines currently around 4” or so, maybe 5”, and is getting long perfectly with pearl gouramis, dojo loaches, tiny driftwood catfish, banjo catfish, and a few other species. I can’t speak on how they behave when older though.
