Snakehead Baby(do baby snakeheads have colour?)

hello people!
i just bought a baby blue/rainbow snakehead(channa blheri) and saw pictures of these guys with amazing colour,
but i can see no proper trace of colour of its body (mine is just greysh brown)
Can someone tell me if mine will get its colour later ??is it because its still a baby??

How small?

mine was about 4 inches it died so i didn't get a picture

and the colour was nothing like yours same looking but greyish brown
