should be 20-24°C no more thats 68-75.2F

yep. since bleheri are not a tropical fish, they can develop a bacterial infection if kept in water above 75F. if they get it, its a done deal. all you can do is watch them rot away.

they seem to be much more active/happy at around 70-72F anyway.

i don't think that is a problem for parachanna obscura. far as i know they like it hot.
