Hi All,

Loaches are very fast and hard to catch, I thought the Channa isn't as fast. This bugger actually caught one!! This is my first experience keeping a Snakehead and I'm just awestruck. :D These guys are master predators and strategists. I don't usually fancy feeding live fish, but this just happened!!

He managed to gobble up a fully grown Schistura Loach within 2-3 seconds.. Damn :grinno:

Cheers,

Karthik

I had a 3" gachua do the same thing! The loach was in the tank and i couldn't catch it so just left it in that tank. The gachua had no problem finding him lol, The loach it took down was actually a bit longer then the snakehead!

as a general rule of thuimb if it'll fit they will eat it and if it wont they will kill it lol.

Yes dc. Learnt that the hard way. I don't fancy feeding life fish to them but these loaches are just too hard to catch.
