No always been in a community tank they would probably be better off solo for breeding. Also would probably be better with a lil salt added for breeding. Never tried to breed them wasnt even really looking for a pair. Keep all my smaller gobys in the same tank after i got rid of my breeding colony of purple spot gudgeons. My snakehead gudgeons, pygmy sleepers,empire gudgeons and peacock gudgeons were all kept together with a dragon goby and lots of plecos.
Also have another 4-5 inch jaguar catfish $30 and a 5-6 inch chaca catfish $40. And a 3/4 inch-1inch EBJD $10. Need some space asap $45 for all 8 gobys.
