Snakehead ID's

Found these guys in a LFS, guy didn't have the import list on him, and all he said was they're Snakeheads and they were imported from Singapore.

Anyone know what they are?

According to the seller, #2,3 are the same sp.

The first one is channa argus..

I'm not sure bout the second fish but it's definitely a polypterus.. possibly an endli

The third is polypterus senegalus..

How much do these fish usually cost in Malaysia? The guy is selling #1 for $18, and #2,3 for $30, fish are approx 3-5"

Never seen any argus before but I don't think they are expensive.. Same goes for senegal.. Around $10 or less for that size..

I thought the first one was 'Parachanna Obscura' .

Hi,

2nd and 3rd pic show Polypterus, but dont know the correct species, im not interested in them, and never kept them.

First pic is surely not Channa argus or P. obscura. Panaw could be close, or bankanensis.
