snakehead in canada

I just found out they are illegal in the states. Boo!!!!!!!!!! From what Ive read they are still legal in Canada.
 
yup still ligal i work in a lfs and we get them in and on or lists weekly, we always haves micros, dwarfs coem and go in availibility and species but u cna find them jsut look around.

It is strictly enforced so I advise you not to ask questions how to acquire snakeheads by any means and this forum is certainly not a proper venue for black markets.

sorry I was not implying that the forum was a means of acquiring one, I was just wondering if I had ever had the opportunity to obtain one whether or not I would be in trouble.
 
Was just clarifying just in case. Check the laws if you could keep bowfins legally which is an alternative to snakeheads. There are plenty of lists in Frequently Asked Questions section.

You can get them... If you want to pay a lot for them and recieve a hefty fine then the euthanasia of your fish. Or you can submit an application which will most likely be turned down even for education purposes. Or you can go up to Canada to get one, which I suggest against doing in case they check your vehicle, hehe.
 
you being in ontario should be able to get them check with below water
