Hey my Channa Stewartii jumped out and didn't see him til hours later. He's alive but shaking whenever he's getting air. Any help would be great. Thanks.
Snakehead jumped out of tank. Help.

Reduce stress and let it settle. Would keep the water clean and hold on feedings till things settle.
I ended up putting him in a small tank and put a little amount of water so he could surface for air easier. Also put airstones, and mini sponge filter.
It's a good thing it was the snakehead and not some other fish that couldn't breathe air. I think it will be fine once it recovers from the stress to it's skin and respiratory system from drying out. Do you have any stress coat type of water conditioner to help soothe the skin and regenerate the slime coat? Great idea to lower the water level!
