Hey yall i'm doing fish tank renos (Actually just changing stock). So I'm considering a channa bleheri or channa bleheri *blue* which do you like?. Now how is the personality of these guys as a single fish? Also i reaize they are sub tropical fish so what should the temperatures be and at which months and for how many! Thanks people and they are only $20 i love this lfs!

anyways no longer need help deciding it looks as he shipped all the regulars away (he's an importer and he has an outlet store open to public but i am assuming he ships out to fish stores and people around canada because one day he has 20 fish (like channa bleheri then the next no more!) So if i do get one it'll be Channa bleheri "blue"

sweet i was thinking that .i got six off him about a two months ago.but im actualy in alberta now lol. u should really think about getting one hey have great personalities and are awesome little fish .i think next to my boys aka giant snkeheads they are deff my second fav .

I try to get my Sp. Assam tank down to 18C for winter, and summers as high as 25-26C. Not sure on the personality of a single fish; I've only kept groups.
Bleheri "blue" is a bad name since they are not a Bleheri variant, but a separate species. Sp. Assam and Lal Cheng are preferred names, and you will find better info searching under those names.
