Snakehead refuse Pellet!!

Hi guys,i found that in one of my channa Bleheri species tank,after i feed them with a couple of live foods and beefheart,today i tried to feed them with some Tetra monster pellet and Hikari sinking pellets,they seem to refused the pellet by spitting it out,is it due to those tasty live food or meaty food that i usually feed and now they are refusing these boring pellets,is there any way that i could make them take pellets again or should i just stick to my mealworms,Beefheart and Bloodworms as their main diet,thanks alot
 
mealworms,Beef heart and Bloodworms are enough for them. as i know, most of the channa species only accept raw food whether it live or dead food. :irked: but u can try to stave them for 1 or 2 days, feed them with pellet and let see what the result.
 
Years ago when I had redlines I found it fairly easy to get them to eat floating pellets by dropping the pellets directly into heavy current. The fish instinctively would grab it seeing movement and came around quickly.

Hi,

try more often, and get rid of the beef.
Meat from warmblooded animals is not a good fish diet, they have problems to digest it, and get fat.

Thank Bro Bruki for your kind advise,i will try to cut down on the beef part and maybe stick more to Small Frogs and Blood worms and Mealworms of cos:DAfterall i will like to say a big thank you to u guys as after i start to surf through the SH section in this forum and it tempts & triggered me to get my 1st SH ,until now i have never regretted having them and will be glad to have even more of this cuties,those infos u guys provided in this section is really very helpful and knowledgeable and lastly i got to say YOU GUYS ROCKs:grinno:And Bruki,if i do get a chance to travel to your place,will definitely love to pay your Beautiful Channas a visit in your Home
 
Hi vandecruz,

its a looong travel from singapore to Bavaria, ande the people there are strange ;-)
Drinking Beer from 1 Liter glasses, having a dialect that the rest of the country dosn't understand, and wear leather trousers ;-)
