Snakehead Substitute?

For the members here that live in the US, lets face it we all get a little jealous when we see other member here post up pictures of there Snakeheads, My personal favorite Snakehead would be the Channa Pulchra or Peacock Snakehead.

But too bad i cant keep them here , so i substituted for a betta which reminds me of a mini Snakehead!

So i was wondering are there any other species that would be a good substitute for a Snakehead?

Yep,bowfin,closest you can get to a snakehead and once you've had one you might agree that it's close enough.
