Snakehead vs Hujeta Gar

I have a Channa Gachua currently in the same tank with some Hujeta Gars.
They are all about 12 cm long and have lived in harmony for the last few months.

My question is: Will they continue to grow together or will the Gars end up as food?

Any opinions?

hujeta gars will grow to around 10 inches (25 cm) i think the snake head will eat the hujeta gar

Gachua are small and peaceful by snakehead standards, they should be fine with the hujetas as they don't get large enough to eat them. If the hujetas were baby's and the gachua were adults it would be different haha

Their in a 40 g tank at the moment. Will be moving into a 75 g in the new year.

Update:
Just brought home a Rainbow a little smaller but by 2-3 cm. The gar attacked a couple time when he first went in. Has stopped now, hopping it was just the excitement of a new fish. Have a back up tank ready if I need to separate.
