Look through the "Other Monster Fish" section, I saw a post not long ago with most states in it and the ban. Can't find it now...

You can also fit Bleheri (rainbow) in that 75g, which will grow to approx. 8" max.

Second... You're incorrect on the legality of SHs in CT. Here are the lists for both states:

Restricted Fishes of Connecticut

Department of Environmental Protection website, the following species or live eggs there of are prohibited from importation into or possession in the state.

1) Bowfin (Amia calva)
2) Gars (Lepisosteidae spp.)
3) Gizzard shad (Dorosoma cepidianum)
4) White bass (Morone chrysops)
5) Freshwater drum (Aplodinotus grunniens)
6) Snail carp or black carp (Mylopharyngodon piceus)
7) Silver carp (Hypophthalmichtys molitrix)
8) Big head carp (Aristichthys nobilis)
9) Carp (Cyprinus carpio)
10) Tench (Tinca tinca)
11) Rohu (Labeo rohita)
12) Calbasu (Labeo calbasa)
13) Catla (Catla catla)
14) Mrigal (Cirrhina mrigala)

(iii) Family Characidae: Piranha: All members of the genera Pygocentrus, Rooseveltia, and Serrasalmus.

(iv) Family Clariidae: Walking catfish: All members of the family.

(v) Family Cyprinidae:
(A) Fathead minnow, Pimephales promelas.
(B) Grass carp (in the diploid form), Ctenopharyngodon idella.
(C) Ide, silver orfe or golden orfe, Leuciscus idus.
(D) Rudd, Scardinius erythropthalmus.

(vi) Family Gobiidae: Round goby, Neogobius melanostomus.

(viii) Family Lepiosteidae: Gar-pikes: All members of the family.
 
Just posted this in a Dwarf snakehead thread but here it is again:

Dwaft snakeheads grow to about 15-20 cm max Try something like a Channa Bleheri (20cm max)or Channa Gachua (15cm max)not as aggressive as their the big boys, but tankmates should be quite big as cant fit in the mouth.

Cant believe there banned :swear:
