People are paying to catch channa argus in the Patomac River and it's tributaries. I caught more than a dozen this summer. They're here to stay!!! I've caught small ones (8" - 13"). Some guys here in VA / MD have caught them 24"+ (6 - 8 pounds).

Anyone ever kept there Channa Argus (northern snakeheads) in there aqariums? Havent seen any in the Snakehead forum / media lounge. They sure are tough looking in the wild!!! It's a shame they're illlegal. I'd love to have a few!!!
