Thanks, I haven't read it yet but I will. Nice avatar BTW...have you seen that guys other work? Awsome stuff, I found his website a few years back while in college.

Ok, just read it. Very interesting!!!! I particularly liked what it said about their feeding habits, avoiding the bullhead and wating the killifish. Seven inches in less then a year!!!! Wow, they grow fast....but I am sure you guys that keep them know that. Looks like I'll be moving to Virginia then...something I have actually been wanting to do anyway....this will help nudge me to do it.

yeah, i've seen his website, actually got it from a cradle of filth album cover, before i even knew who originally did the art. --yep, seems like they're taking pretty small prey. don't think they'll run the bass outta town.

Funny how people are so worried about the bass of all things rather then the fish that could actually be seriously threated like the smaller minnows and other fish.

yeah, i know , it seems to be all about money, the bass fishing industry, that's a big river, i know snakeheads are eating machines, but so is every other preditory fish out there, bass, walleye, pike, musky and especially those blue cats in that river. i found another article yesterday , an interviev with Fla. fish and game, they've dealt with more invasive species than anybody , and they say the media is WAAAAYYY over reacting, which is true, i'll post a link if i can find it again.

That was a good article, I bookmarked it. I don't like that snakeheads are here...they do pose a problem but they are here now, there is nothing we can do and while their pressence is serious they are not half as bad as most people and the media make them out to be.
