SNAKEHEADS IN VIRGINIA!!!

I saw on the news that there have been more snakeheads caught in Va ponds and lakes than in previous yrs. Lets go NETTING!!!!
 
talk to eatsomekiwi's, he catches them all the time in Va

I take it these are considered a non game fish and can be caught with non conventional mehods. I will also be looking to take one into a monster tank when I get back to the states. any comments on this? I think one might do well with a gar and Various larger agressive american Cichlids.
I'v never seen a snakehead besides a 2" one in a basement 30 gallon.
(not legal in Cali or Tx)

Woah you didnt know they were illegal? have you listened to the news in the last 10 years or so?

Go to Hawaii, they pond raise them for food, at least on Oahu. There are gray areas of the laws. I have photos of them live, in tanks for sale in Chinatown.

I'd catch one and keep it.
