Snakeheads....

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
You wanna know what I think is real odd is that the "Alien fish" was found in Maryland, but yet Maryland has sp of Snakeheads that are LEGAL(Ceylon and Gachua). Many more are going to be added to the list I heard of Argus and Bleheri and possibly Auranti.

the problem with these are the improper way to dispose snakeheads or other restricted species. they create havoc in our ecosystem if released in rivers and ponds. i hope this creates an eye opener to anyone who is planing to release any species of fish into their rivers or ponds. it would be better to donate it, or give it for free rather than having these regulations all over us.;)

What is really dumb is that Channa Argus have been in Maryland waters for who knows how long. The kids also caught the Channa in a pond behind a asian resturant(they use the channa as food).

Hmmm....so it seems that the solution to the snakehead problem is to import more Asians. When snakehead populations become established in new waters, just tell the Asians were the are and give them a fishing pole.

Can we have snakeheads now?

Somehow I don't think that will do it.
