The Cali King i aquired from the rept store was given to me with a hollow log a ceramic one striving to keep my pets in a realistic surrounding i did'nt use it in his tank .today after feeding he was on top of the substrate looking around pre molt so i thought i wonder if he would remember his fake log sure as crap the little bugger high tailed it for the log inside he went may be it offers some security being able to see his surronds instead of burrowing I'm not sure but he been in there for a hour now I'd like to think he misses it makes me feel like a good papa
