Snakes Turning Grey???

My blood python is turning grey/blue all along his back and his head, his eyes are slightly cloudy too. Is this due to a shed comming up or something else? He is also hissing at me, he has never hissed at me before.

Definetaly going opaque to shed. It lasts a few days, then they clear up for a day or two, and then they slough their skin.

Yes, sounds like he will shed soon - their vision is impaired during this time and that would probably explain his irritability towards you.
