My lfs has these hybrids, I believe they are a cross between a red belly, and the black braditi. They are beautiful, the main body is about the same as rbp's, but the throat to anal fin is a very bright orange/red, almost like a hunting cap. Has anyone else seen these, or have any other information on them? I know they are still a shoaling fish, but thats about it.

Reds are pygocentrus , brandtii are serrasalmus, two different genus, no way to cross breed. Snakeskin is just a name for patterned reds. Check Frank Magallanes site for more info. Bout halfway down the page...
