Hi,

striata isnt blotched,
lucia/lucius is blotched in a different way, AND luci ahave a blakc stripe from the snout through the eye that bends "donwards" behind the eye.

The shown fish has a distinctive round blotch on its "shoulder", so it can be clearly identified as Channa punctata. The nearly lookalike Channa panaw has NOT this distinctive blotch.
