man ive been keeping 3 silver arowanas with 2 red snakheads (all same size) and they have all been eating pellets their whole lives....i always give them as much food as they want every single day which is why im surprised!!! the red snakeheads ripped apart the smallest arow and ate him!!! im so pissed i threw th snakeheads in my pond

aww sorry to here that bro...=[ yup snakeheads are mean buggers...you seem them fine one time and the next time you turn you back on the tanks and pond they attack your fishes...was their anything else attacked? and how big were the snakeheads?

I believe the rule of thumb that (if it fits in their mouth, they will eat it) does not apply to Snakeheads. I think for snakeheads that if it does not fit in it's mouth, tear it a part instead. Sorry about your loss though.

harsh dude.... There is never a given with reds that they will be killers... im suprised oddball went for the i told u so approach. Ive seen lots of big reds be grown out with aros, feed 100% pellet and there be no problems at all even at 2'. But lie i said its very unpridictable, U shouldnt feel bad, they are reds so you knew the risks dude... its the gamble we all take....
