does a baby snapper need land or can he be in all water ??? also what do i feed him

and will a sunfish and rockbass eat pellets after a while ???? they were droped off here

I would give the snapper some land. Sunfish and rockbass (which are actually in the sunfish family) will eat pellets. You can give them anything- tubifex worms, etc.

yes bby snapers do but once they hit the 12" mark they dont really need land o anything but it would be better if you had a log or a big rock to stand on to get some air

there are 2 snapping turtles. alligator and common. One of them(i think the alligator) does not need a basking spot at all. Vicious_Fish will give your great information.and for the sunfish question try me thread called "bluegill diet question"

I had several common river snappers and they never used their dock (even when babies). Offer them a dock anyway because they might use it. One of mine would climb on the back of another turtle, but still never used the dock.

They get big and they get big fast. My largest was nine years old when he ran away from home. He could stretch out over 40" from head to tail and weighed just over 55 lbs.
