i always feed my snapper reptomin but a friend gave me a large bottle of land turtle pellits. would the tortoise pellits help or harm my snapper if i feed them to her with the reptomin? just cant see wasting a bottle of food.

hmm
snappers are amphhibious but i think they are carnivorous (not really sure)
and most tortoise are omnivorous
try comparing the contents

What size its your snapper and what kind are the pellets, post the name if possible? If they are thouse kind of toise pellets that are like "alfafa bullets" they are better left to your turt when full grown, if they are small and soft you can use them with reptomin no prob at all;) Snappers in the wild eat a remarkable amount of vegetable matter and its healty for them to do the same in captivity, results in a smooder growth and shell, alike a wild one. You can give it leafy greens to munch on, just float a leaf, as well as feeding it herbivor fish and tort pellets in complement of the reptomin, wich should be readbly taken, wille eating leafy greens may take some time and training
