How big do Red Eared Sliders get?

Not that I haven't seen a RES with a 15" carapace, But they rarely grow to that size unless you've got a nice sized pond for them. An average slider has about 8" carapace.

Now the snappers, THEY get pretty big.

I think I have a male a female, but it's too soon to tell.

The sliders are def male and female.
