i own a 1 foot snapping turtle who lives in a 100-150 gallon aquarium.

1. What would be a Healthy substitute other than feeder fish for my snapping turtle.

2. is there any fish or other aquatic animals i can put in the tank with him for like company so i'm not just using this tank for 1 turtle.

3. i was wondering if u could tell me or show me a good way to set up the aquarium.

Heres a pic of him which i just moved him into this tank.

Now I know what mine will look like when all grown up lol Try keeping guppies there to sFast for him to catch prob or to small to see try getting really tiny fish I would think no 100% guarantee

i remember putting tadpoles with him but he ate about 10 of them in an hour..

i will get guppies and see what happens. hes much bigger now than when i fed him the tadpoles..

ya i dont think we have alligator snapping turtles in Western New York, but hes just a little larger than a foot and hes not aggressive at all.. Ive had him for almost 2 years now
