yep completely illegal. but if your lucky you may be able to catch one released into the wild. appearently they turn up once in a while in cali still.

interestingly enough i just found out all baby turtles are banned from sale in the us

exactly. i just got a baby florida soft shell and a baby smooth soft shell for my SAE in agriculural science;):D
