Well I netted some largemouth bass fry last night!!! So I had to make room for them. My 29 seemed to be the most appropriate place, nice and roomy for about 20-30 fry, clean, sounds good right? One problem, my convict pair call it home. So I was like whatever I never really liked them anyways my lmb are way cooler so I dropped them both in my 120 to feed to my 6-7" Jag and Mayan cichlid, my 5" pike, and my 12" bullhead. Sure enough 2 hours later my 2 maybe 2" convicts are happily swimming around, actually sharing the peice of slate my 12" bullhead chills under. I will have to get a full tank shot so you can see these 2 little cons swimming around with all these 5.6.7 and 12" fish. I'm very surprised there not even chasing the cons, and believe me my fish arent sick they tear apart everything else I throw in there. Thanks for reading:)

sorry mods i posted this twice please delete

Cons will have a chance until the lights go out, then the bullhead of yours is gonna make a meal of them.

Please update tomorrow.

Cons are tough little buggers. I once threw 4 males in with my 11" red devil to be dithers and they ended up doing well. The larger ones grew to 4" and the largest one even developed a huge hump.

seems that when cichlids become larger they don't really seem to mind other fish that they do not consider threats. As long as they are not bite size they are generally pretty safe. I have a demasoni in with my larger cichlids and they just ignore him. Even though half of them could pretty easily eat him
