I got these guys from Ira in January. They're starting to spot and color up now. This was a poor atempt at taking a video of them eating. The last time I tired it was over before I got the camera on. The video is short, I found out after I turned the camera off that the reason they stopped hitting them was they each had several in their mouths. I could see 3 in one's mouth. Creepy with the eyes looking out. I tried to get a video of that but it didn't turn out. The next batch of jewels will be ready in a few weeks, I'll grab the better camera next time so you can see the colors and markings.

Here's a couple of pic's from April. The colors and marking have really turned on since then.

ive all ways wanted to get snooks . are those red day snooks the haven't colored up or are they the green varient

Also like the catfish four line picuts, P. blotcii are great with less agressive cichlids they grow fast and eat like pigs usually very active aswell

They are the green's. They are starting to show a lot of color now so I guess I need to pull out the camera. I found the 4lines at an LFS and grabbed them since I never seen them locally. I keep pictus in most of my tanks but worried the snooks would munch them when they get bigger. I'm hoping the 4lines will get big enough. The cats rule the tank.
