Interesting. Guyana peacocks do have red eyes though.

yeah i had them before but that horizontal line is trying me nuts and has me wondering. Markings too

There are some orino's that have red eyes as well. I have had and seen rio metas with red eyes, vens orino's with red eyes. Jeff Rapps had a couple of red eyed rios. So the possibility is there. If snook is calling them Guyana ocell's, then that's what they are.

Snook knows his stuff so I'd imagine he's probably right. But then again there is always that possibly with cichla at a small size. I thought the lateral line the on the occell went all the way through the tail?

Give them a couple week and the line through the tail will show. MFM Guyanas were at 3-4" or so in those pictures. And at two inch, primo start to show gold around the bars.
