Got a 5" texan cichlid to accompany the denizens in my newly established 120 G - 2 oscars, 2 large x-feeder fish, 1 4" African, and 1 12" pleco. The oscars teamed up and to save the fish, I tossed him in the 55 with the red bay snooks. (I'd been looking for companions for them, anyways.) He started chasing them, but what can one do? He wasn't actually biting them. Next morning, all three of the snooks were glazed over and filmy. Not one had a bite in him. They musta had little fishy heart attacks, and I'm crushed. I don't even want the texan anymore, I'm so sick at heart.

Thats a real shame, i've got an amazing snook at about 8" and he's one of my Faves, i've been looking for some more for months and no sign of any.

i know my petsmart carrys them, try there

sorry to hear about the snooks

Snooks are very easy going fish.I have a 9" snook and if it weren't for the difference in eating habits I'm sure I could put him in my discus tank.

sorry for your loss,BTW
