Snooks caught spawning

I caught my snooks in the act. The second vid shows the female getting aggressive with the male. That's what caught my attention and got me to grab the camera. Turns out they were laying eggs.

Snooks have interesting personalities - not really aggressive but big (and big mouthed) enough to hold their own with other CAs. My pairs have always had significantly larger males than females. Wondering if that's why the female's acting as assertive as she is...
