there is no such thing as a freshwater snowflake eel the "freshwater snowflake eels" need to be in brackish water

All morays all saltwater aside from one asian species, can't recall the name at the moment. They are basicly sold as food items in the asian market.

Someone told me the saltwater snow flake eel could live in freshwater aswell thank u for clearing that up

The 'freshwater snowflake' is better off in saltwater, but the true saltwater snowflake cannot live in fresh.

i believe the eel Slippery was referring to was Gymnothorax polyuranodon?

Saltwater snowflake defiently needs saltwater and freshwater should have brackish however can live in fresh but still should have some salt it the tank. However is not the ideal environment for the eel. May have a shortened life.
